An interesting 3D film clip emerged this week on the NASA YouTube site of footage taken aboard the International Space Station back in 2012. The surface tension of water in microgravity means that a ball of water can be formed that hangs in the air, and it was into such a ball that NASA astronauts Steve Swanson and Reid Wiseman and ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst inserted a filming GoPro 3D camera. It gives a rather distorted and shaky view from the inside of the ball to the gathered astronauts looking on – quite interesting. It`s time to whip out your 3D glasses to watch the clip or alternatively click HERE to see a 2D version of the film.
